Sunningwell Festival 2007

We sure worked hard for this one, with new tunes, new songs, new arrangements (well, arrangements) and even... wait for it... rehearsals. The whole evening was such fun and the audience didn't want us to go home. Our programme included plenty of great dances from Cornucopia and tunes from the band, solo dances from Kim and Ebeneezer Hogwallop (aka Adrian) - (errr, not at the same time, obviously), side-splittingly funny songs from Mr Abner Turnipseed (aka Pete Orton), a wonderfully eccentric performance of Old Dan Tucker from special guests Mike and Vanessa, Woody Timberleg (the dancing twig), all skillfully and amusingly held together by non other than Mr Reg E Troubshort himself. A marvellous evening was had by all. Thanks to all who came to see us, despite the floods in the Abingdon area. As it turned out, the weather was dry, and as the evening wore on, it just got better and better. In fact it became quite barmy.
